Applying for a nursery class place

We are offering 15 hour nursery placements for 3-4 year olds, as well as 30 hour nursery placements for those that are eligible.

Term times

The school nursery will be open during term time only. Term dates (including closure dates for INSET days) are available on the school website.

Session times

  15 hour placements

    Children requiring 15 hour placements will be able to access either a morning or an afternoon session.

  • 8:30 – 11:30 OR 12:30 – 15:30

  30 hour placements

    Children requiring 30 hour placements will be able to access both morning and afternoon sessions with the additional one hour     

    lunchtime charged at £6.50 per day/ £32.50 per week. Parents should provide their child with a packed lunch or they can order a

    meal for their child online via The Pantry, our caterers.  

  • 8.30 - 11.30 AND 12.30 - 15.30

    Siblings of children already attending Grange Park can be dropped off up to 8:45.

Preferences

Parents can state their preferences (morning or afternoon, or 30 hours placement) when an offer has been made.

Extended hours

Extend, our internally run Breakfast, Afterschool and Holiday Club, can offer places for children attending our nursery. Extend provides a daily breakfast and after school club as well as provision over the school holidays.

In-year admissions

Please contact the school office to find out if there are any spaces for admissions outside the start of the academic year in September.

30 hours free childcare

You can usually get 30 hours free childcare if you (and your partner, if you have one) are:

  • In work – or getting parental leave, sick leave or annual leave
  • Each earning at least the national minimum wage or living wage for 16 hours a week
